Our Conference Series

Through our signature (yet free) conference series, we strive to build a network of committed educators across the world. By bringing together keynote speakers, workshop leaders, and educators, we create a collaborative space to learn and design the classroom of the future. Read below to see more!

Keynote Speaker

Each of our conferences features a keynote speaker making waves in the education space, usually debuting new ways of making education more accessible through technology, design thinking, or project-based learning.

Hands-On Workshops

Throughout the conference, we bring in educators, founders, and visionaries to lead hands-on workshops on topics that you can implement in your own classrooms.

Panels

We seek out innovators in education space that we think are doing truly unique things to raise the bar and ask them to discuss and debate their visions in an open Q/A panel. These innovators can be anyone from teachers to startup founders to education policy makers.

Networking

The most lasting impact from an IgniteSTEM conference is the network and connections that you make. We reserve time for conference attendees to get to know each other and facilitate this process through changing pods and topics of conversation.

Grants

We want to promote educators to implement the ideas that they take away from our conferences in their communities and facilitate this process by providing grants for specific projects that attendees pitch to our grant committee.

Hack Packs

For all our attendees, we provide our "Hack Pack"–a set of resources that can range from lesson plans to our textbook to Raspberry Pis–that allow educators to bring design thinking directly and effortlessly into their classrooms.

Each of our conferences is unique as we change and iterate on our years of experience in running our series. Our events are structured as "mini-hackathons" and are as interactive as can be, as we believe that the true power of education relies on community and grassroots thinking.
