Each of our design thinking challenges features a keynote speaker to inspire students. Speakers motivate students with the impact that their trajectory can have on their future and the world.

We believe that students are underserved in traditional schooling. Through our workshops and programming, we expose students to extracurriculum–teaching topics such as entrepreneurship, design, and philosophy.

Each of our challenges focuses on a particular challenge that requires no prior knowledge. Students paired into teams are taught the skills of design thinking to take their local experiences and apply them at a global context to ask questions and present their solutions.

One of the best parts of the challenge is being exposed to Princeton University and its students. We present a tour of the campus to all of our students, who are often from underprivileged environments, to show them the possibilities that await them in the future.

Of course, we present prizes to the winners of our challenge. But all of our attendees are winners who come away with concrete skills and thought processes that we hope they will bring back to their communities and schools.

We welcome and encourage educators to bring their students and help aid us in both running and judging our event. We provide networking opportunities and professional development credit for teachers and professionals.
